Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls

Chocolate peanut butter balls are a dessert recipe with a full of protein and naturally sweet. It tastes just like a dark chocolate. Since this is no bake recipe, kids can also cook these candy balls with parent guidance and supervision.
Chocolate Peanut Balls
Ingredients -
1 cup roasted peanut
⅓ cup honey
2 tbsp peanut oil/other oil
2 tbsp instant coffee powder
½ tsp vanilla extract
1 cup shredded coconut
¼ cup cocoa powder
Salt to taste

Directions -
  • Peel the roasted peanut and make a paste using a food processor / mixer.
  • Run the food processor until it becomes a smooth paste.
  • Add honey, peanut oil and salt into a mixer jar and again run the mixer till it makes a smooth paste. Taste and add more salt or honey (if required). Its look and taste is same as peanut butter. Now peanut butter is ready for further process.
  • Now add ½ cup shredded coconut, vanilla extract, coffee powder and cocoa powder in this peanut butter jar.
  • Again run a food processor until all the ingredients mix with each other and make a smooth paste.
  • Prepare balls from paste with an almond hiding inside it.
  • Coat all the balls with shredded coconut. Here you can use cocoa powder or sprinkle or chocolate chips.
  • Now chocolate balls are ready to serve at room temperature or one can make it chilled before serving.

Chocolate peanut balls are a homemade and healthy dark chocolate for kids which is also packed as a gift for festivals like Rakhi, Diwali, Christmas etc.

Recipe Notes -
  • Ready peanut butter can also used for this dessert.
  • You can use salted or pre-toasted peanuts.
  • Another kind of nuts like almond, hazel can be used instead of peanuts.
  • Add less or more honey, cocoa powder and coffee powder as per your taste.
